Josif's reputation as the one of the strongest technical assets on Vancouver's Structural Team has earned him respect among his peers and clients. He is esteemed for his role as a mentor and advisor regarding code interpretation and design.
His notable technical achievements include the seismic and wind design of many buildings in the USA, where structural designs are reviewed in excruciating detail by top structural firms. Some of those projects include: North Star Phase 1 – Lake Tahoe, 8th & Pine in Seattle, and the Spring Condominiums in Austin.
Currently, Josif is contributing to RJC’s Lateral Design Manual and is leading a design team on twin-towers located in Richmond, BC.
Josif graduated from the University of Belgrade in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science. He joined RJC in 1994 and became an Associate in 2011.
