Read Jones Christoffersen has received more awards for parking design than any other consulting engineering firm in Canada.

Since 1964, when our Parking division was founded, we have continued to produce innovative, integrated parking solutions for our clients. Whether acting as parking consultants, structural engineers, or restoration engineers, our primary focus is on security, durability, and economic, user-friendly design. Having completed designs for hundreds of parking structures across North America and internationally, we are recognized leaders in our field.

In the late 1970's, when corrosion-induced deterioration became evident in parking garages, we were leaders in the rehabilitation and protection of these structures. Our extensive knowledge of the factors affecting structural deterioration and durability, allows us to design new parking facilities that are better able to withstand the environmental impact of temperature, seismic forces, salt penetration, and concrete shrinkage.

As founding members of, and the only Canadians on, the National Parking Association's Parking Consultants Council, and founding members of the Canadian Parking Association and the Institutional and Municipal Parking Congress, we give regular seminars on parking garage design, maintenance, and restoration across Canada.
