The modern parking garage was introduced to Canada by Ted Seeberg, a parking visionary in the 1970's, and founder of RJC's Parking Facility Design division. Since then, RJC has earned more awards for parking design than any other firm in Canada.
RJC’s engineers set the national standards in parking facility design when we created the CSA Standard S413 on the “Design of Parking Structures.”
RJC has:
- more national and international awards for parking structure design than any other engineering firm in Canada
- designed hundreds of parking structures
- evaluated and restored over 500 parking structures
- authored the “Maintenance Manual for Parking Facilities” and “Parking Facility Security” for the Canadian Parking Association
- staff who are founding members of the Canadian Parking Association (CPA) and the National Parking Association (NPA) Parking Consultant's Council
No other firm in North America is as qualified as RJC to review, repair or design parkades.
Functionality + Structural Design + Aesthetics
We design durable, cost-effective, low maintenance parking structures that optimize the site for vehicle circulation and pedestrian movement, and we make them look good.
Parking structures are a big part of the urban landscape. Our designs blend with the surrounding buildings and offer users efficient, visible entry and exit points, safe lighting, clear sight lines, and low-impact ventilation and noise emissions.
We continue to produce innovative, integrated parking solutions for our clients and are recognized leaders in our field with some of the industry's leading technical personnel.
