A Home When Away
Jeneece Place , Victoria, BC
This new 10,500 sq.ft., three storey wood-frame residential building is located on the grounds of the Victoria General Hospital.
Designed by Alan Lowe Architect, Jeneece Place provides a ‘home away from home’ for families who have to travel to Victoria, BC to receive medical care. The house contains ten bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, television and telephone. There is also a large common room kitchen, games room, media room, and arts and crafts room.
Over the past five years, funds have been raised to cover the $5.5M cost of construction. To assist in achieving this goal, RJC generously donated $26,500 in engineering design fees.
