Geoff Kallweit

Geoff has earned the respect of peers and clients alike for his leadership, communication, thoughtful approach and engineering abilities. His ability to turn vision into structural reality has resulted in many successful and unique projects. His experience ranges from streetlights to internationally award winning structures such as Glacier Skywalk, which received an Award of Excellence from the Canadian Consulting Engineers, our discipline’s highest honour.

Geoff has a solid understanding of the specific and unique requirements for transportation structures, including pedestrian and vehicular bridges, light rail transit stations and other civil infrastructure. He considers the implementation of his designs from the very beginning, taking into account constructability and the impact a solution has on its users and environment

In addition to Glacier Skywalk, his experience includes Elbow River Traverse (winner of a Mayor’s Urban Design Award), 61st Avenue S.W Pedestrian Overpass, Calgary’s West LRT expansion and numerous public art projects.
