Dominic joined RJC’s Vancouver Structural Team after completing his Master’s Degree in Earthquake Engineering at the University of British Columbia in 2006. He holds Professional Engineer designations in British Columbia, Ontario and New Brunswick in addition to being a LEED® Accredited Professional.

In 2012, Dominic transferred to RJC’s Toronto Structural Team and was promoted to Project Engineer in Tibor Kokai’s group. Over the course of his 11 year career, he has played a pivotal role in several of the firm’s large scale high-rise residential and commercial projects, where construction is often fast-tracked and where successful completion has contributed immensely to RJC’s reputation in this area. His experience on some of these technically challenging and complex projects has afforded him the opportunity to develop his ability to think creatively when solving engineering challenges. Amongst colleagues and clients, he is known for his exceptional technical aptitude, contributing significantly to RJC’s Structural Technical Group, with a well-earned reputation as a software specialist for concrete design. Some of Dominic’s significant projects include Massey Tower, Calgary City Centre, 25 Richmond Street East and Irving Oil’s Home Office.

Dominic is seen as an effective problem solver with a talent for managing workload and resource issues in an efficient and diplomatic manner. He has shown himself to be fully invested in the success and development of his team and provides support and mentorship to a number of its junior members. Dominic constantly promotes a collaborative and engaged environment, encouraging those around him to bring forward creative solutions and improved technical applications and protocols for the betterment of the practice and the firm.

Dominic understands the value of exceptional client service and how critical it is to the overall success of the firm. Over the years, he has managed to cultivate many strong and lasting relationships and is regarded throughout the industry as someone with integrity and an ethical approach to doing business.
