Clint joined RJC as a Design Engineer in 2006 after graduating from Lakehead University. He received his Professional Engineer designation with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) in 2012 and was promoted to Project Engineer in 2015.
Clint has significantly contributed to the growth of Victoria’s Structural Team by leading production of a number of the region’s larger and more complex buildings. His portfolio includes award-winning projects in numerous sectors, as well as many prominent seismic upgrade projects. Clint’s more notable projects include Capital Park Redevelopment, 1515 Douglas Office Tower and the Hudson and Bayview Developments.
With the departure of three of Victoria’s Structural Associates two years ago, Clint was thrust into a leadership role and quickly proved himself to be a strong leader, with a natural ability to manage projects and people. Clint embraced his role as Project Engineer with vigour and has continued to demonstrate high levels of competency and professionalism. He is recognized as an effective mentor, providing support and guidance to the junior staff. He is known for his keen attention to detail, is a member of RJC’s Structural Technical Group and is considered one of the technical leaders in the office.
Clint is highly respected by his clients and has steadily built a strong stable of clients who call him directly for work. This level of confidence and trust speaks volumes to his ability to forge lasting relationships by putting clients first. Clint is also proactively engaged in the team’s business development activities and effectively cross-markets building science work and other services to clients. He has also taken an active role in his own professional growth and development and recently passed the IStructE exam.
Recognized for his strong work ethic, Clint is a team player who does what it takes to get the job done, consistently meeting demanding deadlines. Clint is considered to be very practical in his approach to design and, together with his passion for problem solving, has earned a reputation for maximizing structural efficiencies while managing multiple projects.
