During the YVR Link 2 Project, significant savings to the client’s bottom line was made by performing an extensive parametric study of the shear walls to allow a major second phase addition without needing to introduce expansion joints. He had a leadership role on the Canada Line Airport Station project. For the Pedestrian Walkway, important client objectives were met by using moment connected trusses and composite beams to reduce overall size.
After earning both his Bachelors and Masters of Science from Iowa State University of Science and Technology, Reza enrolled at the University of British Columbia, where he graduated with a Masters of Engineering. Reza has worked for engineering firms in Tehran and Vancouver and joined RJC in 1997. He became an Associate in 2011.
