Bruce has built a notable portfolio of major projects for both public and private sector clients During his term as Managing Principal, he oversaw all of RJC Victoria's Structural Engineering team projects for many years. Bruce takes an active role in projects, particularly during the schematic and design development phases. He has a well-earned reputation for developing innovative, practical and economical solutions for his clients' unique structural challenges.
Bruce's depth of experience includes the structural design of many healthcare, educational, commercial and residential buildings, recreational facilities and seismic upgrades. He is the designated Sports and Recreation Facility specialist at RJC.
Bruce first joined RJC Vancouver in 1981, and after a one-year break, returned to RJC Victoria in 1988 and became a Managing Principal in 1994. In 2016 he was appointed Managing Director in RJC's Executive Committee.
Bruce graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 1981 with a diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering and received Struct.Eng. designation in 2006.
