BSc.KIN., CRSP, Health, Safety and Environment Program Manager
Amanda is an accomplished Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional with an extensive background in the construction industry. She is proficient in both Occupational Health and Safety and Disability Management and has experience working on infrastructure, commercial, industrial and renewable energy projects. Her strong communication and leadership skills, knowledge of HSE, and ability to develop and facilitate employee training make her a great asset.
Amanda works collaboratively with regional Health and Safety Committees across RJC to develop, implement and execute safety culture initiatives to further improve performance and ensure compliance with regulatory, industry, and corporate standards. She develops, maintains and executes RJC’s safety programs, including risk management and training programs across the firm. Amanda continues to make sure that RJC’s safety culture is industry leading.
Amanda is a graduate of the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, as well a Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. She is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional, a Certified Psychological Health and Safety Advisor by the Canadian Mental Health Association, and continuously attends conferences and completes training within her field to ensure she is up to date on industry best practices and legislative requirements.
