Applying his expertise and diverse skill, Doug develops tailored solutions to help clients achieve their specific vision. As Managing Principal of RJC’s Calgary Structural Engineering team, Doug provides senior level expertise and mentorship. He is well versed in the full range of project delivery methods and contracts, and plays a key role in setting up owners and project teams for success.

Doug is responsible for the design of some of RJC Calgary's most notable projects, including the $1.4B International Facilities Project (IFP) at Calgary International Airport the largest single expansion ever at the airport. His impressive portfolio includes recreation, healthcare, industrial, education and commercial structural projects, as well as various parking structure projects. Doug understands the functional requirements and various systems used across these project types.

After graduating from Queen's University, Doug worked for three years in consulting engineering in northern British Columbia. He then joined RJC and furthered his education by completing a certificate in project management at Mount Royal University. A distinguished alumnus of Queen’s University, Doug was awarded a Queen’s University Engineering Excellence award for his commitment to industry and business and his community.
