The Art Gallery of Grande Prairie is located within a two-storey masonry shell of the former Grande Prairie Historic High School — a building within a building! The new gallery expands the existing art gallery built within the Montrose Cultural Centre and connected via a glass bridge. At 20,200 sq. ft., the seven gallery space is now doubled in size. With the recent expansion, the Art Gallery of Grande Prairie is now the second largest art gallery in Alberta.
