As Prime Consultant, RJC provided design and field review services for masonry restoration and window preservation projects for the 100-year-old Central School in Kelowna. These two rehabilitation projects were designed to meet the City of Kelowna’s objective to preserve and protect heritage resources of historical significance to the City, as well as conforming to the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada. These combined projects have since received an ‘Honours Award’ from Heritage BC, as well as an award from the Masonry Institute of BC.
