Novus at Garrison Point, located on the eastern boundary of Liberty Village, is a two-tower mixed-use community located in Toronto’s Ordnance Triangle. The development features 29 and 35-storey towers of purpose built rentals situated on a variable-height shared podium containing significant retail space. On ground level, there will be 122,590 sq. ft. of retail fronting Ordnance Street to the north, and 53,324 sq. ft. of retail fronting onto Strachan Avenue to the west. A double-height ground-level galleria along Strachan will include escalators leading to a 52,813 sq. ft. grocery store on level 2, while a 29,475 sq. ft. paid membership gym will be located on the third floor. The east side of the podium will include residential suites above the grocery store. The towers will form the second phase of an overall 7.6 acre triangular-shaped site bounded by the CP/GO Transit Georgetown rail line to the north and CN/GO Transit Lakeshore rail line to the south. The residents of this community can live, work and shop with the conveniences of daily city living, and at the same time play in an urban backyard outside their front door. A new pedestrian and cycling bridge links Novus to the Martin Goodman Trail and the Toronto Waterfront.
