The glass pedestrian sky bridge over High Street connects the Hilton Columbus Downtown to the adjacent Greater Columbus Convention Center. The ultramodern skywalk is based on a central spine design concept.  Steel ribs are suspended  from  a 48 inch diameter tubular steel spine to support both the faceted glass walls and  floor of the  bridge. Although the skywalk weighs 138 tons and spans 105 feet the transparent glass box truly appears to float above the roadway below.  The project was completed in 2012.
