Meadows Community Recreation Centre and Library is an 234,400 sq. ft. facility that includes an aquatic centre, fitness centre, gymnasium, programming spaces, indoor walking and jogging track, as well as an ice arena featuring two NHL sized rinks.

Metal panels and glazing systems were a prominent feature of the building exterior.  The building exterior was designed as a rainscreen system with cladding over a continuous air barrier/waterproofing membrane.
