RJC Vancouver’s James Munro was named the recipient of the 2017 Rick Banman Mentorship Award, which honours the memory of Associate Rick Banman and promotes a culture of mentorship within RJC. Effective mentorship creates a supportive learning environment in which the sharing of knowledge and the accomplishment of goals is achieved through relationships built on trust and respect.

An Associate on the Vancouver Structural team, James received numerous nominations for the 2017 Rick Banman Mentorship Award in recognition of his passion, commitment and unwavering willingness to provide guidance and mentorship to those around him. Respected and admired, James is known to devote and dedicate himself to solving problems and his colleagues consider him to “embody all the qualities of a perfect mentor“.
