RJC's The Edge wins at the 2019 Edmonton Urban Design Awards

This year at the Edmonton Urban Design Awards, RJC Engineers (RJC) happily accepted the Award of Merit for The Edge project. The Urban Design Awards celebrate the greatest new projects in Edmonton, where individuals, organizations, firms and projects are recognized for having contributed to urban design and the City's quality of life.

The Edge Office Condominium development is a 10-storey building with office space on eight levels and the top two levels reserved for residential space. The south facing wall sports 560 solar panels – one of Canada’s largest vertical solar walls, and combined with the north facing, floor-to-ceiling windows, about 80% of the building's energy consumption is replaced. RJC is proud to be the structural engineers on this energy efficient project.
