RJC sponsors Herowork Ride to the Summit BMX Challenge

RJC Engineers are proud sponsors of HeroWork Ride to the Summit BMX Challenge on September 12^th which helped raised over $25,000 for the Y’s Young Moms program at the Kiwanis Victoria Family Centre. The Y's Young Moms program help single moms and their young kids get the housing and help they need.

Terry Bergen took on the challenge and rode with Trevor Botkin (Herowork Project Lead) on the 22 km ride over the Malahat and through Shawnigan Lake to raise money for this community fundraiser. It took them just under 3 hrs and as Terry stated the 16% uphill stretch was the best worst part of the ride.
