This prestigious award is given to a CSCE Member or Associate Member who has demonstrated outstanding accomplishments as a young professional engineer.

Stanley is an active member with CSCE. IN 2011, he Co-chaired the University of British Columbia (UBC) Student Chapter, continuing his involvement with the CSCE Vancouver Section early in his career. He served as the Young Professional Coordinator with the Local Organizing Committee for the 2017 CSCE Annual Conference in Vancouver. His dedication to Vancouver Section, and focus on mentorship for new committee members, has had a direct impact on the Section’s continued growth.

“I’m passionate about serving the profession and I enjoy collaborating with like-minded young professionals” shares Stanley, who continues to dedicate his time to local professional associations, volunteer, serve on the board, and mentor other young professionals.

Stanley received his Bachelor of Applied Science (B.ASc) specializing in Civil Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2012. He worked as an infrastructure and bridge structural engineer before returning to UBC to complete his Masters of Engineering (M.Eng) in 2015, specializing in structural and earthquake engineering. He has since been with RJC Engineers where he is a Project Engineer.

Stanley's wide range of project experience allows him to bring creative solutions to challenging building and infrastructure projects. His peers and clients have high regard for his strong technical insights and unique perspective. Among his many notable projects are public transportation stations and local airport upgrades and expansions. He embraces RJC’s culture of sharing knowledge broadly, initiating and leading professional development initiatives and mentoring junior employees.
