Amica Lions Gate Expansion

Situated in the Sentinel Hill neighbourhood, the expansion of Amica Lions Gate will provide the senior living community with a convenient place to call home as it is only minutes away from the Park Royal Shopping Centre in West Vancouver.

Located across the existing Amica Lions Gate building which will be connected by a covered pedestrian walkway, this expansion will provide the community with a 48-unit, six-storey building for independent senior living.

RJC is providing Building Enclosure consulting with the project architects, NORR.

The exterior assemblies for the new construction and connecting walkways match the existing building on the site, providing durable and maintainable materials for this seniors complex, including cementitious panels and stone veneer cladding.

Durable aluminum framed glazing systems are used in the public areas, while high quality vinyl framed windows provide better thermal performance in the suites for the senior residents.
