The National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC) is a joint venture between the University of British Columbia and the Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club.

It provides a high performance soccer training centre shared by the Whitecaps, the University and the community.

RJC was engaged as the building enclosure consultant for the three-storey, state-of-the-art field house and training facility, located on the UBC Point Grey Campus athletic precinct.

Our enclosure team assisted the architects in designing a durable building with a unique and significant wood cladding approach.

Creating a robust enclosure was particularly important for the UBC Field House component with change rooms and support spaces that all open directly to the exterior.
