Alex is a versatile and flexible engineer who welcomes new challenges. He takes the clients’ view to evaluate where innovation is important, focusing on solutions to best suit specific needs. His reputation for creative engineering solutions and reliable on time and on budget delivery make him a trusted collaborator.
His portfolio of work spans a number of sectors, including office buildings, condominiums, institutional, long-term care and student residences. Alex is the engineer of record for Portland Commons, King Portland Centre, Queen Richmond Centre Phase 2, and the University of McMaster McLean Centre of Collaborative Discovery. He also led the design for iconic projects such as Eglington Crosstown, Leaside Station and Laird Station, as well as the CN Tower Entrance/Plaza Revitalization project.
Alex is a graduate of the University of Toronto and a LEED Green Associate. He is an integral part of RJC’s structural liaison group, collaborating with colleagues to develop frequently used details for the firm.
