With a strong technical background and creative mind, C.C. brings the best of structural design to all his projects. As a Principal, he leads a team of engineers and technologists, mentoring RJC’s next generation and leading them in delivering extraordinary structures. His work includes projects in many countries, including China, Taiwan, Singapore and the Maldives.
C.C. is a visionary thinker and thoughtful leader, developing elegant solutions to achieve architecturally expressive design. Those he works with value his inspired thinking and strong theoretical background. Many of his projects reflect his abilities, including the UBC Student Union Building, TELUS House Atrium, Linear House Private Residence on Salt Spring Island and the Clayton Community Centre.
C.C. graduated from Tong Ji University in China and holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia. C.C. was previously a member of the Vancouver Urban Design Panel, which advises City Council and staff about development proposals, development applications and other projects of interest to the City. He is actively involved in industry committees on seismic design with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and Structural Engineering Association of British Columbia (SEABC).
