This $100 million expansion at Erin Mills Town Centre has transformed the shopping centre into a new and exciting retail hub in Mississauga.

The redevelopment includes a number of new amenities including over 185 retail stores and services.

The new standout showpiece is a 283 ft. in circumference glass and steel sphere in the main atrium of the shopping centre.

Floating over Centre Court, the sphere’s double-curved glass construction is one of a kind in the world and is beautifully complemented by a sparkling infinity fountain, effectively uniting form and function to create an ultimate place to meet and greet.

Existing skylights were replaced with modern clerestory windows to provide natural light throughout the common areas and the impressive new main entrance (Entrance 'A' near Hudson's Bay) features a striking glass facade that is over 40 ft. tall and 350 ft. wide.RJC’s rendering and visualization specialists were able to communicate the intricate detailing of the structural steel and glass elements at concept level to illustrate the structure to the client and the design team.

This also proved invaluable in communicating the design to the fabrication and construction team.
