Location: Vancouver
Start Date: Immediately
Salary Range: 50,000-60,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and processing monthly invoices
- Assist in collecting outstanding accounts by telephone calls or follow up emails
- Log collection efforts and activities regularly
- Respond to client and Project Engineer inquiries regarding invoice-related issues or statement of accounts
- Prepare, record and post daily deposits
- Update programs to add job fees and client information as necessary
- Print and sort Statements of Account on monthly basis
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports (A/R and Over 90+ day reports) as required, including billing forecasts and format revenue recognition reports
- Regularly organize financial folders by archiving inactive project files
- Assist with special projects as required
- Provide reception relief back up
Professional Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Completion of accounting courses through a recognized university or college is preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of related Accounts Receivable experience
- Familiarity with the consulting engineering and architectural industry is an asset
Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills with a working knowledge of computerized accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics aka Solomon, Newforma, Unanet an asset)
- Excellent communication skills
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and strong attention to detail skills
- Ability to self-manage assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight and meet deadlines
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and calm composure
- Committed to providing exceptional client service
- Able to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships as a team member
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
