We’re looking for a forward-thinking, people-first leader to join our Human Resources team as Manager, Organizational Development. Reporting to the Human Resources Leader, you’ll collaboratively design and deliver programs that develop leadership capability to elevate the employee experience and bring our culture to transforming everyday interactions into meaningful milestones.

Candidate Profile
At Read Jones Christoffersen LTD (RJC), the Manager, Organizational Development acts as a strategic partner to RJC’s Human Resources Leader to enhance organizational performance, leadership capability, and workplace culture. This individual contributor role aligns talent strategies through optimizing organizational design, driving change management, and effectively launching organization-wide HR programs to build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Leadership & Talent Development
- Provide guidance to technical and business leaders on developing high-performing teams.
- Identifies opportunity and manages RJCs talent development programs, including leadership training, mentorship, and career progression frameworks tailored to engineering professionals.
- Facilitate succession planning and supports the development of emerging leaders in technical and management roles.
Organizational Design & Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with business leaders to assess and refine organizational structures, ensuring alignment with project-based and client-driven work models.
- Support workforce planning by identifying future capability needs and ensuring succession plans are in place for key technical and leadership roles.
- Partner with leadership on restructuring efforts including operational and service offering changes.
Performance & Operational Effectiveness
- Strengthen performance management practices inclusive of setting expectations, feedback, coaching and evaluating performance, ensuring they align with project-driven work environments and professional development.
- Use HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of leadership, talent, and organizational programs, making data-driven recommendations.
- Support business leaders in aligning individual and team goals with overall firm objectives.
HR Business Partner Advisory
- Collaborate closely with the HR Leader and HRBPs to drive firm-wide talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness initiatives, while providing insights on talent strategies, workforce trends, and best practices.
OD Program Implementation
- This individual contributor role collaborates closely across functions and levels of the organization to effectively launch organization-wide HR programs that build a high-performing and engaged workforce.
Professional Qualifications & Experience
Education, Certifications and Licenses
- Undergraduate degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, Adult Development, or a related discipline
- CHRP Designation or Certified Coach.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in organizational or leadership development or team effectiveness.
- Experience preferred in Engineering or Professional Services Firms.
Technical Skills and Personal Competencies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong initiative and change awareness.
- Translates data and trends into insights that drive business and HR solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in building relationships and leveraging networks.
- Passion: Committed to improving the experience of RJCers, through culture, learning and performance.
- Business Acumen & Resilience: Strong business insight with the ability to manage priorities and adapt.
