Bill Gladu

BASc, MBA. P.Eng., LEED® AP | Principal

As the senior building envelope specialist in RJC’s Toronto office with over 30 years of industry experience, Bill is responsible for managing projects from start to finish including investigation and assessment of envelope design, and management of retrofit and new construction projects. He is an expert in the evaluation, investigation, design and remediation of building envelope systems (walls, windows, curtain walls, roofing), as well as the development and implementation of preventative programs. In addition to his assessment and design work, he provides expert advice to the professional liability industry.

Bill provides clients with services on both retrofit and new construction projects ranging from design, construction, and commissioning consulting to technical audits, reserve fund studies, and litigation consulting. His projects have involved consultation with architectural teams, Owners, and Contractors to incorporate performance and durability into design documentation and construction practices.

He completed his engineering degree at Queen’s University, a MBA at Simon Fraser University, and the Building Envelope Professional program through the Architectural Institute of British Columbia. He is Chair of RJC's Building Science Liaison Group, a body that manages building science technical issues for the firm nationally. Bill is a past member of National Building Code of Canada Task Group for Curtain Walls and Window Walls (Part 5).
