RJC Engineers Co-hosts ‘Building a Foundation for Reconciliation’

Presented by the IPCA Economics, Infrastructure and Finance Stream, “Building a Foundation for Reconciliation: The Role of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction in Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas” was co-hosted by RJC Engineers, IISAAK OLAM Foundation and the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership.

This virtual mini-conference was part of the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership’s Campfire Series. AES Engineering and AME Group sponsored the event. The session explored how architecture, engineering and construction can honour the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action through supporting Indigenous led conservation. This foundational session will help industry professionals understand how reconciliation relates to Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas (IPCAs) and how they can support Indigenous Nations in their establishment.
