Andrew Crosby

BSc., PEng., LEED® AP | Principal

With a specialty in structural glass design, Andrew continues to advance structural glass design. He also specializes in steel design, complex connections, and vibration analysis through his extensive work with contractors. Knowledgeable, creative and a natural mentor, Andrew is a valuable resource to work through solutions to design challenges. He is integral in developing training programs for glass, steel, connection and aluminum design at RJC.

His accomplishments spans a multitude of sectors including commercial, recreational, healthcare, institutional and residential. His retail work includes renovations and expansions across Canada, including projects at Erin Mills Town Centre, Square One, Halifax Shopping Centre, and Calgary Eaton Centre. He has completed a wide range of complex glass structures including glass bridges, skylights, stairs, fin walls, cable net walls, and innovative feature elements. His work includes glass observation boxes (The Ledge) at the Sears Tower in Chicago, Calgary Eaton Centre's barrel vault skylight and glass bridge, and Columbia Icefield Skywalk in Jasper National Park.

Andrew graduated from Queen’s University. Because of his technical abilities and experience, Andrew is on ASTM International Committee for E1300 Glass Code, and the Main Committee for CSA S157 Strength Design in Aluminum. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional.
