Michael Fowlie

BSc, P.Eng. | Associate

Michael is a detail-oriented engineer who takes care to look at not only the big picture, but the smallest details too. The result is constructible, well-coordinated design valued by clients and industry peers alike. His extensive experience on construction sites allows him to develop constructible solutions. Many of Michael’s clients are contractors that call on him when they have an issue on site and need help.

While he has extensive experience in larger projects, such as fire halls and recreation centres, he also excels at completing smaller or more complicated jobs such as assessments, renovations, structural repair and rehabilitation as well as restoration of heritage buildings. He regularly develops creative solutions to respond to found conditions. His work includes the award winning Fort Edmonton Park Indigenous Peoples’ Experience and Windemere Fire Station.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Alberta where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Prior to joining RJC Michael worked for the Government of Alberta and another consulting firm, gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of project types.
