Named to commemorate Alberta’s Centennial year, Centennial Place provides first class office space in Calgary’s Eau Claire district.

The complex features twin high rise towers of 43 and 26-storeys and offers five levels of underground parking.A retail podium linked to Calgary’s popular +15 pedestrian system, connects the towers to adjacent buildings.

Construction was completed in 2010 and the project achieved LEED® Gold certification for Core and Shell.

In 2015, the building became Alberta's first office complex over one million square feet to achieve LEED® Platinum for Existing Building: Operations & Maintenance.

When the 30,000 sq. ft. raft slab was poured for the East Tower, it marked the largest continuous mass pour raft foundation in Canada, and was one of the largest in North America.RJC’s structural system for the towers consists of clear span cast-in-place concrete beam and slab framing with “let through” mechanical ducting.

This system created the maximum possible clear ceiling height and a 13m unobstructed floor space around the central core.
