Developed on the Tsawwassen First Nations land in Delta, BC, Tsawwassen Mills has over 1,000,00 sq. ft. of retail space.

To celebrate the local culture and history of the area, the shopping centre incorporated inspirations from the Pacific Northwest and the Coast Salish Indigenous peoples.

These inspirations included sculptures throughout the interior and exterior of the mall, artistic displays and West Coast heavy timber.

RJC utilized structural steel moment frame construction for the building shell, supporting it with concrete pad foundations and a conventional slab-on-grade.

The structural elements were fast-tracked and pre-tendered ahead of the other disciplines.

Ivanhoe Cambridge developed this project to meet LEED® Core and Shell certifications.
