Led by Graham Design-Builders, the Chillwack Secondary School was a design-build project that accommodates 1,200 grade 10 to 12 students and reflects the heritage of the Sto:lo Nation and local community.

The school’s design embraces design elements that reflect the community’s culture and exemplifies use of wood and sustainable principles.

As a member of the design-build team, RJC’s Building Envelope group contributed experience in designing high-quality, building envelope details into the architecture and construction process.

Key building envelope components were designed for high-energy efficiency using air-tight and well insulated walls, windows and roof systems, and realizing the architectural vision while maintaining technical rigour in the design.
