The parking structure at 107 St. George Street is a three-storey underground structure located below the Rotman School of Management building and the Innis College Student Residence.

As Prime Consultant, RJC Engineers completed a condition survey assessment of the parking structure in 2013 and recommended repairs to be completed over a five year period.

In 2016 and 2017, RJC was retained by the University of Toronto to prepare the design documentation and provide contract administration services to complete Phase 1 (2016) and Phase 2 (2017) of the rehabilitation program.

The scope of the rehabilitation program included wholesale removal and replacement of the parking level waterproofing membrane and expansion joint seals, localized repair of any corrosion related to concrete deterioration and wholesale replacement of the parking level drains.

Key elements of the design and specification included a clear delineation of the contractor’s allowable use of site, such that the operations of the building could be maintained throughout construction.
