RJC Engineers’ Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre, gained international recognition after being named on National Geographic’s 10 Must-Have Experiences in Alberta. With a majority of the attractions being made up of outdoor experiences, including trips to Jasper, Kananaskis and Drumheller, Studio Bell was the only building on the list. Together with the world renowned Calgary Exhibition and Stampede, the Music Centre was the only other Calgary destination to make the list.

Considered one of Canada’s most iconic pieces of architecture, the award winning National Music Centre is home to a vast collection of music memorabilia, including Elton John’s piano, the Rolling Stones mobile studio, and instruments dating back generations. Carefully chosen artists-in-residence are fortunate to use the instruments to create new projects, using in-house state of art recording studios.
