Monrit Chatha captured her audience with her presentation to win this year’s Barrie Sarjeant Award Competition.

Monrit’s presentation was titled ‘The Cost of Resiliency.’ She shared how RJC can comment and inform others on the cost of resiliency. Her overview included looking at component resiliency, structural resiliency, climate resiliency, people resiliency, education and of course, the cost of resiliency. Her presentation was an inspiring look at how to think not only of the cost of resilience today, but how to discuss a return on investment and the potential savings following an event.

“It was an honour to be selected as this year’s winner amongst such a strong group of presenters. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity and am so proud” shares Monrit. “This competition is just one example of RJC’s commitment to the professional and personal growth of its employees.”

Monrit is a Design Engineer in Vancouver. She graduated from the University of British Columbia in Civil Engineering with a minor in commerce.
