RJC Co-presents on Viscoelastic Coupling Dampers at the 2014 CTBUH Conference

Engineers from Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. joined with Kinetica to present the design of a slender building with high-performing Viscoelastic Coupling Dampers (VCDs) at the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's international conference in Shanghai.

The authors discussed the development, testing, and benefits of the VCD system using an example structure that is currently under construction in downtown Toronto. Click here for the presentation abstract.
