The newly renovated Queen Elizabeth II Planetarium, which reopened this fall, has quite the lengthy history. On September 29th, another milestone was reached, with the Planetarium receiving a 2021 Ecclesiastical Insurance Cornerstone Award (Transformative Projects) from the National Trust for Canada.

Presented by the IPCA Economics, Infrastructure and Finance Stream, “Building a Foundation for Reconciliation: The Role of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction in Indigenous Protected and Conserved Areas” is co-hosted by RJC Engineers, IISAAK OLAM Foundation and the Conservation through Reconciliation Partnership.

RJC is the structural engineer for a number of projects that won at this year’s Toronto Urban Design Awards. The recognition includes four Awards of Excellence and two Awards of Merit.
