RJC Engineers’ (RJC) Windermere Fire Station 31 has won a 2018 Canadian Architect Award of Excellence. Of the 190 professional and student submissions received for this year’s awards program, only seven projects were selected by a jury and presented with the Award of Excellence. The annual Canadian Architect Awards recognizes architectural firms and students from across Canada handing out top honours for design proposals that exemplify qualities of innovation and overall design excellence, as well as social and environmental sustainability.

This year marks the retirement of RJC Engineers’ (RJC) former Managing Director Doug Clark. Throughout his forty-five year career, Doug was a part of tremendous change and growth not only within the firm, but throughout the industry as well. RJC wanted to take a moment to pay tribute to Doug and his illustrious career at RJC.

Urban Development Institute (UDI) has been hosting the UDI Awards for Excellence every two years since 1984. The awards acknowledge completed development projects in the Lower Mainland and throughout British Columbia, and are the highest form of peer recognition in the province.
